Hi, I'm Lucas!

I am a second-year student at Stanford University pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

Excited about the intersection of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, I have strong technical skills with Fusion 360 (CAD), CNC & small-scale manufacturing techniques, and the applications of multiple programming languages (C++, Python, Java, MATLAB).

Experiences and Interests

CAD and 3D Modeling

As the design lead on an international award-winning robotics team, I have over five years of CAD experience. View some of my Engineering Portfolios to learn more about my designs and the journey along the way.

CS Applications

With experience in C++, Python, Java, and MATLAB, I have become a section leader in Stanford's CS 198 Program. I have also researched Machine Learning techniques, making some personal projects. Read more here.

Research

Studying the stiffness of a wide variety of plant-based and animal meats, conducting food surveys in the Stanford dining halls to understand how we perceive the stiffness of the different products, and using neural network modeling to explore how the two are related. Read more soon...

Manufacturing

Multiple years of expertise using tools such as laser cutters, waterjets, CNC routers, 3D printers, and other manufacturing tools. Read about how these techniques were utilized in my Engineering Portfolios.
